IN AWE OF YOU
So this is me dusting off and getting up.I’m continuing on the declarations - last was WITH ARMS OPEN WIDE.
She LOVED beautiful things.
She loved when summer rain would fall and she could dance barefoot outside the house, letting the heavy raindrops cool her skin after a hot day.
she could sit and watch for hours, allowing that sight to fill her heart with love.
She loved making snowmen on the snow-covered front porch and loved staring at the frost that had shaped little crystals on the kitchen window. There was one thing, she loved the most, one person she found more captivating and more beautiful than the rest: her Abba.
And every time, as her heavy eyelids fought the sleep that was about to take over, she couldn’t help but feel deeply grateful, peaceful and happy and overcome with the strongest desire to share those feelings with her friends at school the next day.— ‘I’m telling you, once and for all, that unless you return to square one and start over like children, you’re not even going to get a look at the kingdom, let alone get in. Whoever becomes simple and elemental again, like this child, will rank high in God’s kingdom.’ Matthew 18:3 MSG
In posture, and heart attitude.
But each time she will reach out to her Abba, knowing that in His arms, everything is not just going to be okay, but everything will come together for good.
That is living in Awe.
