Antiracism course testimonials.

"Impactful, educational, practical, non-judgemental, and absolutely crucial.  This course is delivered brilliantly by Jess and I wholeheartedly support her and this work.  Jess is able to connect with the audience and tackle this subject expertly, creating a safe and honest space for attendees, leaving them with practical tools to make a meaningful change and become a real ally.  As a white woman and business owner, I can honestly say Jess' course has moved me to ensure all my clients actively commit to undertaking anti-racism training, and I can think of no better starting point than Jess' Introduction to Anti-Racism course."

Silvia Gargiulo, Founder / Director, BIY People & Talent

‘I can not recommend this anti-racism course enough. Jess is an incredible educator. Her guidance to begin this journey is filled with grace, love, and knowledge. Her course is precious food for your brain and your soul, and I am absolutely grateful for it.’

Corinne Chinnici

‘Before, I was stuck in the limbo between wanting to be an ally to black people but frozen in fear of saying the wrong thing and terrified of phrases like ''white supremacy'. Since doing Jess' course, I am confidently having conversations around race and calling out my own bias' and those around me in a way that I wouldn't have done before.I am no longer afraid of my whiteness and privilege due to Jess' compassionate and insightful lessons that helped put everything into perspective in such a powerful way. I feel empowered to take action and feel like I have very much started my lifelong journey of practising anti-racism and being a true ally, rather than just being performative. I cannot recommend Jess' course enough. I hope such courses become so normalised that if you HAVEN'T done anti-racism training it is seen as taboo. ‘

‘Though I was only able to take part of Jess Mally's course, the impact it had on me was significant. Jess taught with warmth and clarity, creating an open and safe environment where I felt at ease asking questions. Armed with a greater knowledge of emotional practices and anti-racist habits, I now feel like I have the tools to further my own anti-racism confidently.

‘Jess ran an anti-racism course for our company consisting of 4 sessions. Each session was informative and thought-provoking and Jess created an environment whereby people felt they could ask the both difficult and awkward questions without judgement. We were so pleased to see such a high turnout of our team which was sustained throughout all 4 sessions and testament to Jess being such a compelling and inspiring speaker.’

Charlotte Amos, Managing Director at Tracy Locke

This introduction to racism provides a safe space to explore this area with patience, grace and understanding. I'm really grateful to Jess for her time and giving us the opportunity to begin to explore this area in depth.

OTHER TALKS & workshops.

‘Jess hosted a wonderful Black History Month session for our internal teams. She set the scene early, creating a safe space for a full and open discussion to be had. Not only educating through an insightful and engaging talk, but then opening up questions. The team were hugely grateful to have an outside voice to enable discussions that might otherwise not have been able to take place. We couldn't recommend Jess highly enough to help accelerate your D&I initiatives.’

Graham Alexander, Teads

Our students had a truly moving experience with Jess around the time of Black History Month. Throughout the day she delivered multiple sessions with small groups of boys on her work ‘Young King’. Her ability to connect with the students was amazing, she was able to talk about her life, struggles with her personal identity, racism, privilege and mental health. Her manner was very professional and equally engaging. There were a number of powerful moments during her day. All the boys remained in the session for the full duration and did themselves and Aspire really proud by being genuinely thankful for her time. One of the most poignant moments was when she read out her poem and directed it to the individual boys. ‘I’ve written this for boys like you, I mean it, I see you, worthy, proud, striving to do better’. A moment that will last a lifetime.

‘I am working as a lecturer in a College for Social Work (BA) in Nuermberg, Germany. Since we switched our classes to video conference, I was able to invite Jess Mally from London to teach in my class for a day.

The students were delighted and learned a lot. Miss Mally not only has very founded knowledge about the history and up-to-date events of racism. She also has her very own life experience in three countries: USA, England and Germany. It made the class so much more interesting to see her connect her factual knowledge with many practical examples and emotions.
She gave us a lot of ideas, how we can be antiracist and what it means to be an ally versus being a saviour. The students were able to reflect their own mind set in a helping profession.

Because Miss Mally grew up in Germany, she was able to give the seminar in German.
She also translated and defined English words that have been important in the discussion over the last decade.’

EVENTS.

‘I had the privilege of having Jess produce an event of mine. Her competence and brilliant creativity is second to none - and matched only by her thoughtfulness and passion for social justice.’

consulting.

I was initially introduced to working with Jess as an events producer, it soon became clear that the title didn’t fit. Whether its building community, creative strategy, business development, operations and event production, Jess wears many hats, very well.
It’s been a treat to work with Jess. She brings energy, ideas, positivity and a genuine lets get things done attitude to work. A multi-tasker who is great at not dropping the ball, engaging, trustworthy and fun. Jess has been key in helping me shape the future possibilities and potential of the PRECIOUS community and has helped make our offering more cohesive and easier to engage with.
Jess is great at bringing ambitious ideas to life as she only work on projects that align with her, you are secure in the knowledge that  she is genuinely invested in working to your success.
Although I would rather keep her for myself, I highly recommend Jess’s services.
